Why become a member

As a member of the Kenya Union of the Blind you are united with other visually impaired and blind persons.  The more members we have the stronger our voice is when lobbying government for equal opportunities and creating awareness among the general public.  By becoming a KUB member you:

• will be invited to quarterly branch meetings, where you are united with other visually impaired persons in your community.
• can work together to advocate opportunities for and inclusion of visually impaired persons at the constituency and district levels.
• are linked with service providers who can help improve your quality of your life.
• can participate in income-generating activities at your local KUB branch.
• will be among the first to know about new programs and initiatives available to visually impaired persons in Kenya.
• can be provided with training seminars, including assistive technology, health and job skills training.

Becoming a KUB member is easy and registration is free.  Choose from one of two ways to join:
